I grew up in England where I happily used my pocket money to bake novelty birthday cakes for my younger cousins who are now in their late 20’s. That’s how long I’ve loved baking. In fact, I had planned to become a Pastry Chef but c’est la vie there is still time for that. For now my friends are my very enthusiastic taste testers.

However, I also have a not-so-secret dream of opening a small cafe offering freshly baked, dainty treats simply presented for all to drool over.

This blog will be my test kitchen, my opportunity to discuss all things baking, share delicious places, feature favourite recipes as well as my altered versions, and a place to house my interest in petite sweet treats.
